Hello, dear readers! I know it's been a while since I've updated you, but I'm sure you'll be excited for the news I do have.
I'm back to school now, just starting Grade 11, which means I can't write as much. But I'm still going to try.
I'm sad that the summer's over but I'm also studying how to write poetry this year in school so that'll be exciting.
Curse of the Red Amulet has come a long, long way since my last update. A whopping 22,000 words further. Although I gave up on my initial summer goal in mid-June, I set a new goal to simply pass Prophecies, Secrets, and Assassins in word count. Which I did.
I can proudly announce that Curse of the Red Amulet has 26,000 words, and I'm actually so surprised at how far I got. The word count I wrote this summer surpassed last summer's record by more than double.

Now enough of the boring stuff - here's the main news I wanted to share: I'm going to be releasing two parts from my novel. The first is the prologue, and has the history of Melhamarr, where the novel takes place. The second is a bit of the opening scene.
Keep in mind neither of these are finalized yet, and are still subject to edits. They will not change too majorly, however.
The prologue will be released at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 6th, and the sneak peek from Chapter 1 will be released at 12:00 pm, Saturday, September 13th.
