Spring has arrived, and although there's still tons of snow here in Alberta, the springtime excitment is definately here! And along with spring arriving, here's the latest update on my writing!
I've reached 11,000 words on this story, so that feels like a really big accomplishment!
So . . . a few more things about this story . . .
There will be an accompanying guide for each book, they will not be necessary, but they will have TONS of items that will help you understand the characters a bit more, dive deeper into the world of Dakania, and all the tidbits that can't be included in the main novels. The guide for this book will be called Nautilus' Guide to the World of Dakania.
The volcano school is called Crag Peak, and *spoiler* most of the dragons at Hybrid Caves studied there. It had, long ago, been enchanted with hundreds of rooms and thousands of dorms inside. Some of them are in the midst of the volcano, which is dormant, and others reach under ground, some are even under the ocean.
Many of my friends are appearing as characters in this story, with their permission, of course.
So, I hope you're all excited, hopefully I'll finish this and send this off to a publisher in mid-summer.
